VERSAILLES, IN — A Ripley County jury took two and a half hours Monday to convict 37-year-old Jordan Knudson of Murder.
He was accused of fatally shooting former girlfriend Kristina Asche Jones at a residence on County Road 700 West near Holton in January 2021.
The trial began early last week after several delays caused by a series of legal filings in the case.
Ripley County Prosecutor Ric Hertel says more than 20 witnesses took the stand to testify on behalf of the State.
Knudson faces 45 to 65 years in prison when he’s sentenced by Judge Ryan King on June 28 at 9 am in Ripley Circuit Court.
