Kenneth E. Gray, 71, of Elrod passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Cincinnati Hospice of Blue Ash. Kenny was born Tuesday, March 15, 1949 in Milan, Indiana, the son of the late Eugene and Nellie (Deaton) Gray. He married Elaine Justice on December 9, 1968 and she preceded him in death on February 22, 2020. Kenny retired from Rumpke as a heavy equipment operator. He attended Hope Baptist Church. He loved his dogs; enjoyed working out in his yard; and working on projects.
Kenny is survived by his son Kenneth Gray Jr of Kentucky; daughters Kara (Brian) Fisher of Aurora and Kristi (Kevin) Hyde of Moores Hill; sister Samantha Wolfe of Lebanon, Ohio; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Nellie; wife Elaine; son Kevin Gray; brothers Raymond, Lester, Johnny, and Charlie; sisters Mary Delay, Gladys Beard, and Jean Turner.
A service celebrating his life will be held 7 PM Friday, July 24, 2020 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan with Pastor Harris Long officiating. Family and friends may gather to share and remember him 5 – 7 PM Friday also at the funeral home. Memorials may be given in honor of Kenny to the American Cancer Society.
