Joyce Marlene Schuler, 85, of Greensburg passed away on January 26, 2025. She was born on December 19, 1939 in Greensburg, the daughter of George L. and Edna L. (Stewart) Schwier. Marlene was a 1958 graduate of New Point High School. She worked at Batesville Telephone Company and later retired from Gecom. Marlene was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary of Napoleon and St. Maurice Catholic Church of Napoleon.
Survivors include: children, Thomas G. Flemming, Patrick “PJ” Schuler, and Jennifer (Tony Campos) Schuler-Walker; granddaughter, Brianna (Dakota Whitmer) Crowell; great grandson, Kolby Whitmer; bonus granddaughters, Nyssa Campos and Arianna Campos; fur grandbabies, Findlay and Darla; and sister, Marita J. Stevens. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Henry Schwier, Glenn Schwier and Stanley Schwier; sisters, Leona Peters and Georgia Schwier.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 3:00 pm. A visitation will follow from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Rev.
