Greene County, In. — Goose Pond Fish & Wildlife Area is celebrating the return of sandhill cranes and waterfowl to the area with the Marsh Madness Sandhill Crane Festival on Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2.
Marsh Madness is a community-based birding festival in Linton. There will be a kick-off banquet, craft fair, live birds of prey and activities for children, among other events.
Events begin March 1 at 5 p.m. at Linton Elks Lodge, 9779 State Road 54, Linton, 47441 with the kick-off festival. On March 2, events will be at Humphreys Park, 1351 A St. NE, Linton. For a full schedule of events click here.
