John Zarnoch, 77, of Friendship passed away in Dillsboro on Thursday, October 15, 2020. John was born in West Harrison on Saturday, August 21, 1943 to Walter Zarnoch and Mary (Smith) Zarnoch. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Milan Legion Post #235. John was also a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church in Friendship. He often spent his time fishing and swimming, but he loved attending blue grass shows and spending time with his family more than anything.
John is survived by his daughter Amanda Kenney (Keith Bradley) of Milan; sisters Nancy Norman of Batesville, Beverly Rodgers of Milan, Pat Thomas of Friendship; and grandson Jacob Kenney of South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends may gather to remember John from 2 PM to 3 PM Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Bear Creek Baptist Church located at 953 Friendship Road, Versailles, Indiana 47042. A service will follow at 3 PM at the church. Full Military Rites will be provided by the Milan American Legion #235. Memorials may be given in honor of John to the American Legion in Milan.
