He was a pilot and had a deep love for travel, cherishing annual family vacations that continued until the day he passed.  His love for adventure and community was evident in his lifelong involvement with the Boy Scouts, both as a child and as an adult.

Jack is survived by his children, Jill Kruetzkamp, Jeffrey “Jeff” Kruetzkamp, and Jerry Kruetzkamp. He is also survived by his sister Marilyn (Bonaventure) Cahill and his daughter-in-law, Elizabeth (nee Owens) Kruetzkamp.
