There’s a lot of buzz about the upcoming baseball season, after the Reds made multiple off-season moves to better compete in the National League. One of the biggest and most recent, just last week, was acquiring left-handed pitcher Brent Suter from the Rockies, with a 2 ½-million-dollar 1-year deal, and a club option for ’25. Brent enthusiastically tells WRBI he’s thrilled to now literally be playing— at home, since he lives only 15 minutes away from Great American Ballpark. Baseball operations President Nick Krall says adding Suter to the bullpen gives the Reds more depth and flexibility. You can hear how it all works out through the season here on your Reds station, WRBI. The year’s first spring training game’s just under a month away now, on February 24th.
And the Bengals took care of that opening they had at offensive coordinator after Brian Callahan got hired away to coach the Titans… the new leader of offense in Cincinnati will be previous quarterbacks coach Dan Pitcher.
