Jessie Jane (Trotto) Probst

Jessie Jane (Trotto) Probst, 94, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Sunday November 24, 2019 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

She was born December 26, 1924 in Addyston, Ohio, daughter of the late Joseph Trotto and Hallie (McGlasson) HeHee Trotto.

Jessie was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, where she also belonged to the UMW ladies group. She was also a member of the Home Ec Club. Jessie enjoyed playing Suduko, puzzles, quilting, crafting, gardening, and bird watching (especially cardinals and hummingbirds). She was a spelling bee champ, loved flowers cooking and baking. Jessie was known for her apple dumplings and black raspberry pie. Jessie was a friend to all. Her faith was very important to her and she shared her faith and great smile with everyone, no matter what she was going through. She was a loving mom and granny. She will be missed by her family, church family and many friends.

Jessie is survived by her children, Donald E. (Linda) Probst of Patriot, IN, Gary L. (Rheeta) Probst of Aurora, IN, James Probst of Aurora, IN, John (Diane) Probst of Milan, IN, Linda (Tim) Pfennig of Rising Sun, IN, Charlene Probst of Aurora, IN; Grandchildren, Donald Kenneth Probst, Brenda Probst, Matthew (Kelsi) Probst, Kelley Jo Probst, Timothy (Carley) Studer, Eric Studer, Kreig (Amber) Studer,, Mark Studer and Ashley (Sam) Moffett;and several great-grandchildren,
She was preceded in death by Father, Joseph Trotto, Mother, Hallie (McGlasson) HeHee Trotto, and siblings, Ralph and Josephine Armstrong.

Friends will be received Wednesday, November 27, 2019, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, 9670 Mt Tabor Rd, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at the Church, Wednesday at 1:00 pm with Pastor Debbie Beason officiating.

Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana. Contributions may be made to the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. If unable to attend services, please call the funeral home office at (812) 926-1450 and we will notify the family of your donation with a card.
