Jerrie L. (Neal) Wuest, 83, of Milan passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Ripley Crossing with her loving husband by her side. Jerrie was born on Tuesday, December 19, 1939 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana; daughter of Paul and Freda (Gomph) Neal. Jerrie married Darrel Wuest on February 24, 1996 and he survives. Jerrie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Moores Hill, where she volunteered quite often. Jerrie retired from Comcast working as a customer service representative. She loved animals and enjoyed traveling. She cherished time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.
Jerrie will be missed by her husband Darrel Wuest of Milan; daughters Kelly Skinner of Lawrenceburg and Jody (Jim) Rieger of Cincinnati; stepsons Mark (Brooke) Wuest of Milan and James Wuest of California; five grandchildren; and 4 step-grandchildren.
Jerrie was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Freda Neal, brother Wayne Neal, and sister Jean Block.
Family and friends may gather to remember Jerrie from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Moores Hill First Baptist Church, 16603 S Broadway Street, Moores Hill, IN 47032. A service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Laura Erickson officiating. The burial will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Jerrie to Moores Hill First Baptist Church.
