Charlottesville, Va. —A Jennings County man on trial for assault during the Charlottesville riot has been found guilty. Dennis Mothersbaugh, of North Vernon, has been sentenced to 365 days in jail with 120 days suspended.
Mothersbaugh was identified after video of the riot was posted on social media. The video showed Mothersbaugh punching another man who was pointing and yelling at him at the August 12 rally. In another scene Mothersbaugh is seen punching a woman in the face.
