DUPONT, IN — A Jennings County man was arrested on drug-related charges Tuesday morning following a traffic stop in northern Jefferson County.
Indiana State Police at the Versailles Post say a trooper noticed a pickup truck speeding on South Street in Dupont around 8:00 Tuesday morning.
After pulling the driver over, the trooper’s K9 alerted him to the smell of illegal drugs in the truck.
A search of the vehicle turned up a lunch box containing 15 grams of Methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia.
Investigators say additional drug paraphernalia was found in other areas of the pickup.
44-year-old Robert J. Graham of Paris Crossing was arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 4 felony), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Class C misdemeanor).
Graham is being held in the Jefferson County Jail pending an initial court appearance.
