Jean Simpson, 87 of Piggott, AR. formally of Milan, passed away Monday March 20, 2017 at the General Baptist nursing home in Piggott, AR. Jean was born in Boydsville, AR on Monday June 24, 1929 to Taft and Eva (Holifield) Bradberry. She married Orlie L. Simpson June 28, 1948 and he preceded her in death February 7, 2008. Jean worked as a bookkeeper for the South Eastern Indiana Gas Company. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing cards, shopping and crocheting.
Jean is survived by sons: Larry (Barbara) Simpson of Piggott, AR, Stephen Simpson of Piggott, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband: Orlie Simpson, brother: James Dean Bradberry, one Granddaughter: Lisa Simpson.
Graveside service will be at 10AM Friday March 24, 2017 at South Park Cemetery, Greensburg, In 405 South East Street Greensburg, IN 47240 with Carl Burns officiating.
