Jac-Cen-Del’s boys varsity wasn’t the only Eagle basketball team to win a Ripley County Tournament championship Saturday. The JV Eagle boys and girls also won.
The JCD boys reserves edged Batesville 46-45.
Leading scorers for the Eagles were Landon Kohlman and Corbin White with 12 each along with Gavin Groth who had eight. Kohlman hit the game winning free throw with 3.5 seconds left.
The Lady Eagle JV topped South Ripley 45-41. Jac’s top point getters were Julia Meyer 16, Kelsey Borgman 10 and Deleney Hughes nine.
