(Statehouse) – Sixth graders from Jac-Cen-Del Jr./Sr. High School visited the Statehouse Friday, May 12.
The group stopped in the Senate Chamber to learn about the legislative process and State Senator Jean Leising’s (R-Oldenburg) role as a lawmaker.
Leising represents Senate District 42, which includes Ripley, Decatur, Fayette, and Rush counties and portions of Franklin, Jennings, and Shelby counties.
