Janice “Eileen” Taylor, 82

Janice “Eileen” Taylor, 82, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at The Willows of Greensburg. Eileen was born on April 10, 1941, in Greensburg, Indiana to John and Zelpha Beach.

Eileen graduated from Burney High School. After high school, she married her first husband, Jack Tatman, in August of 1959. The two were married until Jack’s death in 1982. During this time, Eileen worked at the license branch in Greensburg for over 16 years. In December of 1985, Eileen married her second husband, James “Jim” Taylor, and he survives. The two went on to own and operate Taylor-Made Candles for over 25 years. Eileen loved making candles. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Eileen and Jim both took pride in hosting family events with the entire family present.

Eileen is survived by her husband, Jim Taylor; children: Gary Tatman, Gordie (Melissa) Tatman, Rebecca Adams (Jonathon Thompson); stepchildren: Kimberly Ballard (Cleveland), Gregory Taylor, Tracey Twyman (Bill), Michael Taylor; 36 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Beach Jr.; sons, Greg Tatman and Jeffery Tatman; stepsons: David Taylor and James Taylor; grandchildren, Megan Tatman, Graci Mae Harrison and Anakyn Springman.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on December 2, 2023, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg, Indiana.
