Jac-Cen-Del Volleyball continued its good play Monday with a 3-1 road victory at Crothersville: 22-25, 25-10, 25-17, 25-19
“Jac-Cen-Del battled through some tough plays and left Crothersville with a four set win,” recapped JCD coach Cat Schmeltz. “The Eagles dropped the first set before coming back to win the next three. This is the Eagles third win in the last four matches with the only loss being a five-set thriller against Oldenburg.”
“Mentally, we just were not prepared to play in the opening set,” Schmeltz added. “Once we began to get our heads into the fight, we pulled through and won. Overall, we didn’t play out best volleyball but were able to get tough and fight through some adversity. This was a confidence booster.”
