OSGOOD, Ind. — Jac-Cen-Del senior, Tyler Shipp, won a Mixed Martial Arts championship belt recently.
On February 4, he fought in his fourth amateur heavyweight MMA match at Hardrock MMA 86 in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
Shipp won in less than three minutes in the first round.
Shipp is ranked first out of 42 registered heavyweight fighters in Kentucky and fourth out of 330 in the Southeast United States.
Shipp now goes on to defend his title at Hardrock MMA 89 at Turfway Park in Florence on May 13.
