The Jac-Cen-Del Eagles made a statement in the first round of the 1A Boys Basketball Sectional at Edinburgh, never
trailing in their 66-40 win over Southwestern Shelby Wednesday night
The Eagles got out to a 16-4 lead by the end of the first quarter and never looked back, outscoring the Spartans in each of the ensuing three quarters.
The top scorer in the win for the Eagles was Matt Dickman, with 21 points.
