(Statewide) – Ivy Tech Community College has canceled a program that provided free summer courses to high school students.
The college cites a challenging fiscal environment that is impacting all public higher education institutions in Indiana.
Ivy Tech officials say they hope to restore programs similar to this in the future through collaboration with community and state partners.
The Indiana Department of Education says its Crossing the Finish Line initiative will be an option for some students for this summer.
Additional information on that is expected to be available soon on Ivy Tech’s website.
