Indianapolis, IN — Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis will soon be “no more.”
The board of trustees at both Indiana University and Purdue University voted Friday to transform IUPUI into two separate schools by the fall of 2024.
The two schools will govern their own academic programs on the current IUPUI campus.
The move ends a joint venture that began 52 years ago.
