VERSAILLES, IN — Longtime Versailles businessman George Halcomb has passed away.
Halcomb started and ran several businesses in Ripley County, including Halcomb Home Center, and served as President of the South Ripley School Board in the early 1970s.
He died Wednesday afternoon at Ripley Crossing in Milan.
George Halcomb was 91.
