The Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association has announced the Girls’ Basketball Academic All-State teams for the 2021-22 season.
Earning First Team Academic All-State from the area are:
- Batesville’s Calley Kaiser, Olivia Raab and Sarah Ripperger.
- East Central’s Ashley Nobbe and Makenzie Vignale.
- Franklin County’s Jenna Bruns and Alex Gillman.
- Jac-Cen-Del’s Annabelle Williams, Aundrea Cullen and Emma Newhart.
- Lawrenceburg’s Chloe Meyer and Hannah White.
- Rising Sun’s Meranda Lozier.
- Rushville’s Annika Marlow.
- South Dearborn’s Bailey Eaves, Laura Castro and Rylee Thies.
- South Decatur’s Brooke Somers and Loryn Pate.
- Southwestern Shelby’s Faith Kelley and Kennedy Pile.
Earning Academic All-State Honorable Mention from the area include:
- Batesville’s Gabby Elston.
- Jac-Cen-Del’s Desiree Sparks.
