IBCA Boys and Girls Academic All-State

The Indiana Basketball Coaches Association has released its boys and girls Senior Academic All-State teams for 2022. Forty boys and 42 girls earned First Team honors while 378 other boys and 452 additional girls received Honorable Mention status.

IBCA-member head coaches can nominate their senior athletes who have a 3.5 GPA or higher (on a 4.0 scale) and a class ranking in the upper 25 percent.  Traditionally, an SAT score of 1100 or better on the reading and math sections or an ACT composite score of 24 or better has also been required, but those were waived for a second consecutive year.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some students did not take those tests or colleges were not requiring those results.
