Holton Fire Department responds to 2 calls in 24 hours

Holton, IN — The Otter Creek Township Fire Department, also known as the Holton Fire Department, had a busy 24 hours Wednesday through Thursday.

Wednesday afternoon, the fire department responded to a dispatch of a truck that was caught in power lines on Marion Street.

And shortly before 5 am on Thursday, Otter Creek Township was called to a vehicle/structure fire. Upon arrival, firemen found the garage was fully involved. Otter Creek Volunteer Fire Dept was able to contain the fire to the garage and no further property damage was done. Mutual Aid was provided at the scene by the Osgood Volunteer Fire Department.

There were no injuries reported in either incident.
