Hester Jean “Jeanne” Evans, age 74, of Greendale, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Edgewood in Edgewood, Kentucky. Born July 13, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of George and Margaret (Reeves) Yauger.
Jeanne was a graduate of Lawrenceburg High School and Western Hills Beauty School. She was a member of the Greendale Church of Christ in Greendale, Indiana.
Survived by her children David W. (Angie) Lange, Shelley (Joe Bonville) Lange and Todd Aldrich. Grandmother to Andrew (Elli) Lange, Kelci (Morgan Bill) Lange, Cooper Torres, Sidney Price and Josh Price. Great grandmother to Calan Lange. Sister of Edwina “Cookie” Love and Margie Prakel.
Preceded in death by her parents George and Margaret Yauger, husband Kenneth Vaughn Evans and brothers George “Bussy” Jr., Terry and Paul Yauger.
Visitation will be Friday February 5, 2021 from 4:30 P.M. until time of funeral service at 6:30 P.M. all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway St. Harrison, Ohio 45030. Burial will be at Greendale Cemetery in Greendale, Indiana.
