Harold Ronald Anderson, age 80, of Brookville, Indiana died Tuesday evening June 30, 2020 at Riverside Healthcare in Dayton, Ohio.
Born February 18, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio he was the son of the late Harold & Violet (Holly) Anderson. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. On August 1, 1959 he was united in marriage to Dessie P. Reese, and she preceded him in death on July 8, 2009.
Ronnie was retired, having been self-employed for much of his life in excavating and trucking, and had also driven a school bus for the Franklin County Community School Corporation for many years.
He was a member of the Valley Christian Church in Brookville. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Survivors include three sons, Rick (Janie) Anderson, Doug (Laura) Anderson, and Scott Anderson all of Brookville, Indiana; as well as six grandchildren, Katie, Steve, Jenna, Brittany, Chelsey, and Brady.
Family & friends may visit from 9:00 A.M. till 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Rev. Wayne Ison will officiate the Funeral Services on Friday, July 3, 2020, 11:00 A.M., at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home. Burial with full military graveside honors by the Bernard Hurst Post #77 of the American Legion will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
