In a tri track meet on Senior Night, the North Decatur girls topped Waldron 65-48 while the Charger boys finished 11 points back of first-place Waldron, 67-56. Edinburgh also competed but no scores for the Lancers were available.
ND individual winners included: Ellis Loehmer (3), Caiden Gahimer, Jake Kinker, Owen Geis, Ella Kunz, Madi Allen, Jenna Walton and Emily Borgman. North alsow won all three girls relays. (More information follows the recaps.)

North Decatur’s Ashley Dillon- Friday’s track meet was kicked off the evening celebrating their Senior teamates. Gracie Osting, Jenna Walton, Meghan Bedel, Allison Nobbe, and Jozlyn Cathey had their last home meet.
- The 4x800M relay team made up of Gracie Osting, Jenna Walton, Ana Mauer, and Addie Gauck took 1st place.
- The 4x100M relay team made of Madi Allen, Bre McBride, Zoey Hersley, and Kara Lowe took 1st place.
- The 4x400M relay team made up of Gracie Osting, Jenna Walton, Addie Gauck and Madi Allen took 1st place.
- Gracie Osting took 2nd in both the High Jump and 800M run.
- Kara Lowe took 3rd in the High Jump and 2nd in the 400m run.
- Anna Maure took 2nd in Discus.
- Meghan Bedel took 3rd in Discus and 4th in Shot.
- Philomenia Niese took 3rd in Discus.
- Allison Nobbe placed 3rd in Long Jump.
- Ella Kunz took 1st in Shot Put.
- Bre McBride took 3rd in Shot Put.
- Madi Allen took 1st in the 100m dash.
- Hope Barker took 2nd in the 100m dash.
- Zoey Hersley took 3rd in the 100m dash and 2nd in the 200m dash.
- Jenna Walton took 1st in the 1600m run and 2nd in the 300m hurdles.
- Jozlyn Cathey took 2nd in the 100m hurdles.
- Emily Borgman took 1st in the 400m run.
North Decatur’s Andrew Hocker- Friday, May 13, the North Decatur Track and field team celebrated senior night. The boys lone senior, Owen Geis, placed first in the 400m dash with a time of 59.56 seconds.
- In long jump, Conner Linkmeyer placed second with a distance of 17ft. 8in. and Kaleb Phelps placed third with a distance of 16-04.
- In the 110m hurdles, Ellis Loehmer placed first with a time of 17.22 and Mason Dimett placed third with a time of 22.78.
- In the 100m dash, Conner Linkmeyer placed second with a time of 12.22.
- In shot put, Caiden Gahimer placed first with a distance of 40ft 9in, while Charlie Kramer placed third with a distance of 35ft 8in.
- In discus, Jake Kinker placed first with a new PR of 110ft 4in and Charlie Kramer placed second with a distance of 106ft 1in.
- In the 1600m run, Ryan Hancock placed third with a time of 6min. 5seconds.
- In high jump, Ellis Loehmer placed first with a height of 5ft 8in and Mason Morris placed second with a height of 5ft 6in.
- In the 800m dash, Noah Weisenbach placed second with a time of 2min 41 seconds and Charlie Kramer placed third with a time of 2min 46 seconds.
- In the 300m hurdles, Ellis Loehmer placed first with a time of 46.2 seconds.
