H.S. softball recaps from May 6 and 7

The following are high school softball recaps from Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7.  All games are varsity unless noted otherwise.  There may be updates, so please check back.

Franklin County beat New Castle in a double header.  The Wildcats took game one by a count of 5-3.  The Brookville ladies had only four hits but took advantage of five Trojan errors.

Brook Stang had two hits for the Cats, Kensee Ferman doubled and drove in two while Maci Lake batted in a run.  KK Ferman pitched a complete game victory with six strikeouts.

Game two saw the Wildcats prevail 10-0.  Bree Bischoff tossed a two-hit shutout with three Ks.

Lake and Kensee Ferman singled twice with two RBI.  Stang and Kiersten Schell each singled and doubled with one ribbie.  Kassidy Schell tripled and knocked in two.  KK Ferman also had a three bagger and plated one run.
