GREENSBURG, Ind. — A Greensburg man was arrested after an altercation.
According to police, Adam Howard was arrested on the charge of battery.
Police say a woman’s father called police to report that his daughter had been hit by her boyfriend.
When officers checked on the woman, she told them that she had been hit.
She told police that she and Howard had an argument, and attempted to leave.
When she tried to leave, police say that Howard grabbed her hair and slammed her head into the floor multiple times and took her cell phone and broke it over the back of her head.
The officer requested EMS.
Medics did not see injuries, but the woman informed them that she was 23 weeks pregnant.
