Greensburg JH Cross Country Competes in a 4-Way Meet

The Greensburg Junior High Cross Country Teams traveled to Brookville on Tuesday night to compete in a 4 way meet against Franklin County, East Central, and Franklin County. The Lady Pirates won the event while the Greensburg boys placed 2nd to the Bulldogs.

The Individual Girls Meet Champion, Madeline Risher, led the Lady Pirates to victory as she took the lead from the start. Three other girls were placed in the top ribbon-earning positions. Eleanor Davis was the Runner Up Champ, Maria Scholle placed 4th and Hadley Davis placed 11th.

Jackson Tekulve won the boys’ event individually as he took the lead from the beginning and continued to dominate the entire race. Two other boys also placed in ribbon-earning spots. Jack Gindling placed 3rd and Kason Bedel placed 7.
