(Greensburg, IN) – Greensburg City Council approved a resolution Tuesday night for a downtown Build Operate Transfer (BOT).
“That involves infrastructure improvements to downtown-specific sidewalks, alleyways, drainage, maybe some lighting options,” said Public Projects Director Zach Wirrig. “Using the BOT project, we can kind of nail that down as we go without having pre-engineered plans and a little bit more flexibility on the pricing options.”
Wirrig says READI 1 funds will pay for the project.
Council’s action on this establishes a partnership between the city and the engineers and construction company.
