Greensburg, In. — Indiana State Police say a Greensburg woman was killed Saturday when she was hit while riding a bicycle at State Road 3 and Broadway Avenue.
Investigators from the crash reconstruction team say Emily Bauman, 43, was southbound on Broadway Street, crossing State Road 3 around 5:30 p.m. when she was struck by a vehicle driven by Traci Miller, 52, Of Hamilton, Ohio.
Bauman was transported to Decatur County Memorial Hospital where she passed away. Miller was treated for minor injuries.
At this time, investigators say Miller had the right-of-way and do not know why Bauman rode into her path. Toxicology results are pending.
The investigation is ongoing.
