Glen E. Lane, age 76, Bright

Glen E. Lane, age 76, of Bright, Indiana, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, in Bright, Indiana. He was born the son of Roby and Ruth (Harvey) Lane, on April 7, 1949, in Princeton, West Virginia.

Glen proudly served the United States Navy during the years of 1968-1974, and he married Lois Fryman on June 30, 1973, in Newport, Kentucky. He was a truck driver delivering mail for the United States Postal Service, and a member of the Harrison VFW Post #7570 in Harrison, Ohio, the Yeager-Benson American Legion #199 in Harrison, Ohio, and the Teamster Local #100.

He is survived by his wife of 51 plus years, Lois Lane, their three daughters, Jamie Lane, Sarah Ryle, and Kimberly Lane, five grandchildren, Michael (Ashley), Kaylee, Jaxon, Emma, and Judson, and three great-grandchildren, Rexton, Radley, and Roonie. He is also survived by his siblings, Steve (Deborah) Lane, Randy (Vicki) Lane, and Connie (Don) Hughett.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Roby and Ruth Lane.

A celebration of Glen’s life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with military honors held at 4:00 p.m. by the United States Navy and the Harrison Honor Guard, all at Yeager-Benson Memorial American Legion Post #199, 10700 Campbell Road, Harrison, Ohio 45030.
