Glen E. Gray

            Glen E. Gray, 81, of Milan passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Highpoint Health in Lawrenceburg.  Glen was born Saturday, October 8, 1938 in Olean, Indiana, the son of the late Gilbert and Evelyn (Lane) Gray.  He worked as a union electrician and was past fire chief with the Aurora Fire Department.  He enjoyed horse racing; watching sports, including the Bengals, Reds, and IU basketball; and Nascar.

Glen is survived by his daughters Sabrina (Randy) Clark of Brookville, Charity Legge (George) Schmeltzer of Aurora, and Trina (Tim) Johnson of Milan; brothers Robert (Linda) Gray of Versailles and Ronnie (Linda) Gray of Dillsboro; sisters Janice (Wayne) Linkmeyer of Versailles and Hope Gray of Versailles; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Evelyn, three brothers: Gene, Gary, and John Gray, and sister Wanda Gray.

A service celebrating his life will be held 12 Noon Friday, July 10, 2020 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan with Pastor Charlie Miller officiating.  Burial will follow in Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles.  Family and friends may gather to share and remember him 10 AM – 12 Noon Friday also at the funeral home.  Memorials may be given in honor of Glen to the Aurora Fire Department.  Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements, 707 S Main Street, Box 243, Milan, IN 47031, (812) 654-2141.  Please reach out through our website at www.lawscarrmoore.com to leave an online condolence message or a memory of Glen for the family.
