The Varsity Lady Chargers fell to Triton Central Tuesday night in 3. Ella Kunz, Sydney Rohls and Madi Allen put away 5 kills each. Miley Scudder added 4 kills, Annie Waechter added 3 kills and Kelsey Haley put away 1 kill. Haley set up 20 assists on the night. Leading our defense, Clare Kinker picked up 11 digs and Hannah Gorrell grabbed 10 digs. Kelsey Haley, Madi Allen, and Sarah Moeller picked up 6,5 and 4 digs, respectively. Moeller, Gorrell, and Scudder had no missed serves for the night and Moeller led with 3 aces followed by Gorrell with 1 ace. Rohls also added an ace.
The JV Chargers lost in 2 to Triton Central. Jo Whitaker put away 3 kills and Ellie Johnson added 1 kill. Maggie Burkhart set up 3 assists and Oakley Freel contributed 1 assist. Ellie Johnson, Maggie Burkhart, and Oakley Freel had no serving errors. Johnson also put away 2 aces and Burkhart and Ally Whitaker both added 1 ace.
The North Decatur Volleyball Team’s last home game is tomorrow night, against Union County. Come out to cheer on the Lady Chargers and celebrate their senior, Ella Kunz! JV starts at 5:30.
