Gertrude “Tootie” Bushhorn, 83, of Milan passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Ridge Wood Health Campus in Lawrenceburg. Tootie was born on Tuesday April 25, 1933 to Arthur and Evelyn (Burns) Parker. She married Clyde Bushhorn February 14, 1953 and he preceded her in death December 24, 1990.
She was a member of the Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking and working with her flowers.
Tootie is survived by her two daughters: Vickie (Howard) McKee of Aurora and Patty Ruble of Milan; Son: Rick (Shawna) Bushhorn of Osgood. 5 Grandchildren. Chris (Lisa) Bushhorn, Josh (Bethany) Bushhorn, Megan (Andrew) Kreutzjans, Jessica Ruble, Patrick (Carissa) Ruble. 4 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband.
Funeral services will be at 11AM Wednesday February 22, 2017 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Burial will follow in New Craven Cemetery south of Milan. Visitation will also be Tuesday 6PM-8PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be given in Tootie’s memory to Cancer Fund or Alzheimer’s .
