Gayle Fulton, 77

Gayle Fulton, 77, of Lawrenceburg, formerly of Greensburg, passed away on July 14, 2022. She was born on July 23, 1944 in Gary, Indiana the daughter of Floyd and Edith Dean Van Osdol. She married Clark Fulton on May 5, 1990. Gayle was a 1962 graduate of Greensburg Community High School and a 1965 graduate of St. Vincent School of Nursing. She worked as an industrial nurse at Westinghouse in St. Louis and Cincinnati and then at BCA in Greensburg. She retired from Jennings County Health Department in 1997. Gayle then opened an in-home daycare for 20+ years. This was her true dream job. She was a member of The Story. She was a strong active Christian, with a special passion for missions. Her trips included Papa New Guinea, Budapest, Brazil, Hungary, and New Zealand. Her hobbies included cross stitching, reading and watching Hallmark movies. Gayle loved all of her family including her Daycare families and she always made a point to attend their activities.
Survivors include: Daughter, Nicole (Bob) Oliver; Sisters, Lois (Rob) Porter and Sharon (Raymond) Peden; Grandsons, Dalton Oliver and Derrick Fulton. She was preceded in death by her Parents, her Husband and her Sister, Janet Vanderbur.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral at 11:00 am. Pastor Jon Porter will be officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery.
