Gary Randy Hensley Sr., 73, of Aurora, IN, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024.
He was born February 22, 1951, in Benham, KY, son of the late Hence Hensley and Edna (Harris) Hensley.
Gary graduated in 1969 from Lawrenceburg High School. He worked as a machinist at Schenley Distillery until 1987, then from 1988-2018 he was a real estate appraiser. He worked as a Dearborn County Accessor from 2006 until 2018, and he was also a brakeman for the Whitewater Valley Railroad. He enjoyed fishing, farming and working on cars, and he was a HAM Operator with 2 way radios.
Gary is survived by his loving spouse Deborah (Sturgeon) Hensley, children, Gary (Karin) Hensley Jr., Bridget (Rick) Davis, Steven (Krista) Hensley; grandchildren, Hunter (Brooke), Grace, Remi, and Colt; great-grandchild, Melanie; and brother, Larry Hensley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hence and Edna Hensley.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
