Full call-out issued by INDOT Southeast for accumulating snow

Southeastern, IN – The Indiana Department of Transportation Southeast District issued a full call-out of plow trucks again on Wednesday afternoon, to get ahead of accumulating snow and wintry mix expected through today.

INDOT trucks now have street view cams.

The National Weather Service is predicting one-to-two inches in most locations, with three inches possible in some areas. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through Friday morning for portions of the district (which includes Ripley, Franklin, Dearborn, Ohio, Switzerland, and Jefferson Counties). Cold temperatures will be a concern and slick conditions.

Plow drivers began reporting between 9 and 10 pm Wednesday evening to start monitoring and treating state roads. At this time, crews are expected to stay active through at least this afternoon.
