Greensburg, In. — The forecast from the National Weather Service has prompted Tree City Fall Festival to make schedule changes on Friday.
First, opening ceremonies –including the crowning of festival royalty– will be moved to the gymnasium at City Hall at 6:00. The Melody Mart Student Jam will hopefully begin between 7:30 and 8 p.m. Finally, the Elton John tribute band Dogs of Society will not perform tonight. Organizers are working to reschedule that performance.
Vendors are welcome to set up at their own risk for Friday. However, organizers will not provide tents to nonprofit organizations until the threat of severe weather passes. Vendors who elect to mobilize on Saturday should do so by 8 a.m.
