Free Legal Advice Available For Residents Monday

Legal volunteers are providing legal assistance to local residents Monday as an annual tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This program is an opportunity for local attorneys to offer free legal consultations to the general public who might not otherwise be able to afford an attorney.

Legal Volunteers will be offering a telephone hotline. The hotline is available from 10a.m.-2p.m. The call in numbers are; 1-877-237-0123 or 812-537-0123.

This is the 8th annual program which legal volunteers of Southeast Indiana has participated in. Attorneys will provide a 10 to 15 minute consultation to answer general questions and offer legal information for those who utilize this service.

A statewide hotline will be available by calling 1-800-266-2581 from 9a.m.-5p.m. for both English and Spanish-speaking callers.
