Frederick “Fred” L. Lingle, 84, of Moores Hill passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at UC Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Fred was born on Wednesday, August 11, 1937 in Goreville, Illinois; son of Lester and Amy (Ballard) Lingle. Fred married Patsy (Carter) Lingle and she preceded him in death on May 20, 2017. Fred proudly served our country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Moores Hill Church of Christ. Fred retired from AT & T working as an engineer. He enjoyed working puzzles and spending time taking care of his family.
Fred is survived by his son Logan (Melinda) Lingle of Milan; daughter Laurel Lingle of Indianapolis, and two grandchildren Derek King-Morrison and Aaron King-Brackman.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Amy Lingle, wife Patsy Lingle, and sister Laurel Kimmel.
There are no services planned at this time. Memorials may be given in honor of Fred to the Moores Hill Church of Christ, Shriners Hospital, or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
