Freda A. Denning

Fire victim, Freda A. Denning, 85 of Aurora passed away Tuesday March 8, 2016 at her home. Freda was born Wednesday February 11, 1931 in Moores Hill the daughter of Walter and Cecel (Belew) Lovelace. She married Charles “Dick” Stephenson October 25, 1952 and he preceded her in death July 4, 1965 and later she married Glenn Denning who also preceded her in death. Freda was of the Catholic faith. She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed: painting pictures in her younger years, joy riding in the county, love making quilts, loved her family and dogs. Freda was a member of the Lawrenceburg American Legion Post #239 Women’s Auxiliary and Aurora VFW Post #5312 Women’s Auxiliary.
Freda is survived by sons: Joseph “Wayne” Stephenson of Cincinnati, Timothy Stephenson of Lawrenceburg, Gerold “Jerry” Stephenson of New Castle, step-son: Ronald Denning of Aurora; step-daughters: Glenna Salisberry of Aurora and Jessica Gail Allen of Greendale. 4 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren, numerous of Step-Grandchildren and Step-Great Grandchildren. Freda was preceded in death by husbands Charles Stephenson and Glenn Denning, brothers: Desmond “Deck” Lovelace, Raymond Lovelace sisters: Clara Webster, Elsie Stahl and Frances Lattire.
Funeral services will be 1PM Friday March 25, 2016 at Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home with Father Steven Donahue officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery at Moores Mill. Visitation will be from 12PM until 1PM also at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Dearborn County Humane Society.
