BROOKVILLE, IN — An emergency meeting of the Franklin County Health Board is scheduled for Tuesday at 5:30 pm to discuss the reorganization of the county health department.
This comes as the result of a hectic period for the department, which has had four County Health Officers in 2021.
Dr. David Jetmore stepped down recently as interim Health Officer. The Indiana Department of Health will take over the Franklin County Health Department until a new Health Officer is hired.
Meanwhile, the Health Board President and another Health Board member also submitted their resignations.
Tuesday evening’s meeting will take place in Commissioners Room 203 at the Franklin County Government Center.
