(Franklin County, IN) – Franklin County Commissioners have extended the countywide burn ban that was put in place last week due to drought conditions.
The order remains in effect despite rain that fell in the area this week.
Commissioners say they will re-evaluate the extension after the U.S. Drought Monitor releases its latest map.
