Angola, In. — The American Legion Auxiliary of Indiana will hold a week-long program to educate young women about the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of citizenship. Practical exercises are planned to teach aspects of state and local government. The program will be in Angola, Indiana at Trine University June 23 through 29.
The Brookville American Legion Auxiliary Post #77 has nominated four young women to represent Franklin County at the event. Samantha Ebrens, Kayla Ertel, Taylor McCreary and Kylie McPherson are looking forward to the event 
known as “Hoosier Girls State.”
