Sarah Swain showed up ready to play for the Chargers Monday, driving in four on three hits to lead North Decatur past South Decatur 23-1.
The Chargers put the game away early, scoring 10 runs in the first inning.
Swain took the win on the mound for North Decatur. The lefthander went five innings, allowing one run on five hits, striking out six and walking zero.
Kassidy Haley took the loss for South Decatur. Haley allowed 17 hits and 22 runs over five innings, striking out one.
North Decatur collected 17 hits on the day. Libby Crawford went a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate to lead the Chargers.
