(Statewide) – Five candidates have announced their intentions to lead the Indiana Democratic Party, with only two formally filing for the position.
The upcoming vote on March 15 will determine the next party leader, with contenders including former gubernatorial candidate Jennifer McCormick and former attorney general nominee Destiny Wells.
The candidates aim to address the party’s reputation and focus on winning back independent voters while navigating the challenges of being a super minority party in Indiana.
