(Batesville, IN) – First Financial Bank recently contributed $25,000 to the Margaret Mary Health Foundation (MMHF) to support construction of Margaret Mary Health’s replacement hospital.
The new facility located on State Route 229 just north of the I-74 Batesville interchange is expected to open in June 2026.
“This commitment directly aligns with our mission to create opportunities for our clients and communities to thrive, and the hospital is a perfect opportunity for us to fulfill that mission,” said First Financial Bank Assistant Vice President Brad Mehlon. “We appreciate the hospital’s partnership and feel this is a great way to give back.”
This donation helps the hospital foundation build on the success of its capital campaign — which surpassed the $10 million goal.
The capital campaign stands at more than $10.7 million raised to date.
“We continue to be amazed by our community’s generosity and are grateful for our partners like First Financial Bank who support our new hospital,” said MMHF Executive Director Jonathon Maple.
The bank’s contribution was made through its First Financial Foundation.
