Firefighter sworn in at Batesville City Council meeting

BATESVILLE, IN — Greg Bottoms was officially sworn in as a Batesville Firefighter/EMT at Monday night’s City Council meeting.

Bottoms is a Greensburg native who started in the fire service in 2007.

He’s been an EMT since 2013.

Bottoms went to full-time status with the department in October but his swearing-in was delayed until now.

He was sworn in by Batesville Mayor Mike Bettice.

Bottoms is married with two children.
